Dominica’s world-leading CBI Programme

Known as the ‘Nature Isle’, Dominica is home to one of the world’s longest-running Citizenship by Investment programmes. Introduced in 1993, it is widely considered to be one of the world’s most efficient and transparent CIPs, combining extensive due diligence with efficiency, speed, affordability and reliability, and has topped the second citizenship rankings for five consecutive years (CBI Index by PWM, published by Financial Times).

Known for being one of the best-value for money CBI programmes, those who invest Dominica’s CBI Programme gain second citizenship and visa-free or visa-on-arrival entry to over 140 destinations. Other benefits include alternative business prospects in a stable democracy and the ability to pass citizenship down for generations to come.

Dominica’s currency is also pegged to the US dollar, providing economic stability to business-minded individuals while a favourable tax climate is ideal for those looking to better manage their assets. And it can all be done within three months. Offering rapid relocation, with three-month application processing times.

Dominica upping CBI property ante

As well as Anichi, Dominica is in the process of constructing a number of other luxury properties including those of hotel giant Hilton as well as expanding its boutique villas, all of which are available under the Citizenship by Investment programme.

What the many newly constructed properties under the CBI guide have in common is their focus on sustainability and on luxury.

According to Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, “Thanks to the real estate arm of the Citizenship by Investment Programme, Dominica is becoming increasingly known for its luxury tourism offering. Under the Citizenship by Investment Programme, investors looking to expand their real estate portfolio have the opportunity to invest in established luxury hotel brands and villas.”
